Calvin Delbert Aicholtz

Calvin Aicholtz of Mt Carmel moved to heaven at age 91 on October 1, 2016. Beloved husband of 66 years of Dorothy Aicholtz (nee Bost), devoted and proud father of John (Vicki), Delbert, and Rebecca Aicholtz, adoring grandfather of Jacob (Kerry), Abraham (Lori), Ben (Kate), and Hannah Aicholtz and Elizabeth (Colin) Berry, and loving great-grandfather of Paige, John, Jenny, Kate, Joseph, Henry, and Paul Aicholtz, Caroline Diana, and Kearie, Calvin, and Avee Berry. Calvin was a homebuilder and a farmer, who gave his children and grandchildren their first job and the joy of completing a job. He loved to be on his tractor planting sweet corn and selling produce at a roadside stand. Calvin grew up during the Depression and as a result strived to live a thrifty lifestyle. He was devoted to his family, Summerside Methodist Church, community, and country. Visitation will be on October 8, 11am until time of celebration of life service at 1pm at Summerside United Methodist Church, 638 Old State Route 74, Cincinnati, OH 45244. Internment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
