Barbara Farley

Bethel - Barbara Mae Farley, age 86, passed away on May 4th, 2024. She was born March 25, 1938 in Cincinnati to the late Rueben and Anna (nee Linton) Wingate. Loving Mother of Beth (the late Dwight) Jones, and Douglas Farley. Cherished Grandmother of Heather (Robert) Payne, Alicia (Vance) Perkins, and Breanna (Daniel) Hensley. Great-Grandmother of James, Melissa, Landyn, Evelyn, Maelyn, and the late Hannah. Beloved Sister of Darryl (Rhonda) Wingate.

If you ever went hungry at Barb's home, then Barb must not have been home. She was a mother to all, and that meant cooking up all kinds of meals. She kept the family to a strict weekly regimen of sitting down for supper on Monday nights, which helped solidify everyones love for each other. On trips, she would have to stop at every new restaurant she found to taste their food. She watched the Cooking Channel religiously, second to reading her bible. As foodie, she loved to recreate the meals she saw on TV. She was also an artist, and enjoyed drawing and painting throughout the years.

Time for visitation will take place Saturday, May 18th from 11am to 12pm at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 4596 Bells Ln, Cincinnati, OH 45244. Service to follow at 12pm, with eternal message ceremony following before luncheon. Burial at Felicity Cemetery at a later date.
